The new Stopper Mark two, and 37/38mm and 40mm Pistol Mark 2 shares logistics to the extent that the application required by the customer will identify which barrel should be fitted, from 37/38 or 40mm smoothbore to the 40mm grooved deadly barrel. Stopper Mark two uses the same parts as the Pistol-family. It also features a new butt-stock.

The Milkor solid state Sight idea ( no moving parts), with embedded gradients and reticule, covered with shock-resistant material. Recoil and strong handling of weaponry in a battlefield scenario can cause havoc with standard reflex and optical plant. Milkor developed a completely new sight which not only addresses these aspects but will also offer a separate scale on the same sight for the medium range grenade launchers ( up to 800m. Benefits and Applications for Today’s LED Displays

Projection technology has evolved at a fairly quick pace over the past several years. Most notably, the native resolution of projectors has increased, while the products themselves have become smaller, brighter and less expensive. Even with this diversity of progress across many technological fronts, nearly all projectors remain harnessed to traditional lamp technologies:

· Multi-kilowatt xenon bulbs - primarily employed in high-brightness and large-venue projectors (>10K lumens), as well projectors for commercial cinemas.

· UHP or metal-halide lamps – primarily employed in lower brightness projectors (<10K lumens), often found in classrooms, boardrooms and home theaters.

Although limited in raw lumen output when compared with the more traditional lamp technologies, recent advances in LED illumination have captured the imagination of projector manufacturers, integrators, consultant and end users alike. It is easy to understand why, in that LED illumination offers many advantages for applications satisfied by lower brightness projectors.

LED illumination is typically provided by an LED module that contains separate Red, Green and Blue Light Emitting Diodes, powered by a specialized switching power supply. There is no color wheel involved in LED illuminated projection systems. Rather, the LED’s pulse in sequence to generate color primaries. The pulsing is digitally controlled, and the duty cycle optimized, on a frame by frame basis, as well as within the frame. This creates the possibility for dramatically improved gamut and saturation. Indeed, although single-chip LED illuminated projectors cannot compete with their 3-chip counterparts in terms of sheer lumens, they are very comparable when it comes to color performance.

LED illumination advantages, plus potential advantages include:

· Deep, Saturated Colors – up to 140% of the NTSC Color Gamut.

· Excellent Contrast via Dynamic Black – the LED’s can be instantly pulsed “off.â€

· Enhanced Reliability – aside from fans, there are no color wheels or otherwise moving parts.

· Environmentally Friendly – no harmful substances like Mercury or Xenon.

· Low Cost of Ownership – typical LED life expectancy is up to 60,000 hours.

· Efficient – energy consumption is currently up to 30% lower than lamps of similar brightness.

Currently the only “disadvantage†to LED illuminated DLP technology is the light output. State of the art brightness is currently rated at about 800 lumens. Because of the incredible color saturation and contrast, those 800 lumens will actually appear roughly 25% brighter to our eyes.

There are still plenty of applications that will benefit from the current brightness levels of LED illuminated projectors. These include:

· Home Cinema

· Command and Control / process control (rear screen)

· Video Wall for museums, retail and public displays

· Simulation

· Digital Signage

You've got the tank, you've got the fish and the plants and the gravel, you've got the filters and the bacteria and the lights. What else did you need?

Well, have you looked at how well your water is moving? If you have a power filter, it might be helping, but the odds are it's not doing enough – you might need to look at adding a powerhead, a water director, or a wavemaker to add a little more action to your tank.

Here's a quick list of all the benefits of having a steady liquid "breeze" circulating through your whole tank:

A moving current will spread nutrients and oxygen to all of the fish, plants and bacteria in your tank. This will enhance your biological filtration, which reduces the amount of toxins floating in the water.

I always remember that moving water is really important in regulating temperature, keeping the water temperature stable by distributing heat evenly. I noticed that it can also prevent hot spots from developing near lights or motors, or cold spots in distant corners of the tank.

A current that moves through the whole tank will prevent the formation of "dead spots", where the water is stagnant and oxygen-poor, and where fish and food wastes collect and decay. I hate these – spots like this increase the toxins in the water, foster algae growth, and make your water cloudy and disgusting. The moving water also stirs up debris and particles, so that they're suspended in the water where your mechanical filter can remove them, rather than settling in a scummy layer on your tank furniture and gravel.

Probably the most important benefit your aquarium gets from moving water is oxygenation. By disturbing the surface of the tank, it increases the amount of water exposed to the air, leading to a quicker exchange of gases. The water molecules release carbon dioxide wastes and absorb tons of oxygen. Richly oxygenated water is absolutely essential to keeping your fish, plants and bacteria healthy. Keeping the bacteria healthy, in turn, helps to maintain pH level, and keep ammonia and phosphate levels to a minimum.

And finally, maybe it's just my imagination, but I think my fish are actually healthier and happier when they get to test their muscles by swimming against a gentle current. To be honest, I just think it's more FUN for them to be in water that moves!
